About This Business Days Calculator

This calculator counts working days between two dates. It excludes weekends automatically and can also exclude common public holidays from selected country presets. How to Use It

  1. Select the start date and end date.
  2. Choose whether to count weekdays only or exclude a country holiday preset.
  3. Use quick actions such as Today, Tomorrow, Next Monday, +7 days, +14 days or +30 days for faster planning.
  4. Select Calculate Business Days to see business days, calendar days, weekends and excluded holidays.

Country Holiday Presets

Holiday calendars vary widely. A national public holiday may not apply to every state, province, emirate, company, school, bank or financial market. CalcDates includes practical presets for common planning across the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, UAE, Singapore and New Zealand, but the calculator should not be treated as an official government, legal or payroll calendar.

Business Days vs Calendar Days

A calendar-day range includes every day. A business-day range normally excludes Saturday and Sunday, and may also remove selected public holidays. This difference matters when interpreting delivery estimates, support SLAs, payment terms, notice periods and approval timelines.

Before You Rely on the Result

Use the result for planning and estimation. For regulated deadlines, payroll processing, banking cutoffs, court filings, tax dates, employment notices or contract terms, confirm the final date with the relevant authority, employer, provider or written agreement.
